We have been riding with Horses on the Beach for 20 years.  Whenever we are on the island we ride about twice a week and we have enjoyed every ride we have ever taken. Your staff is friendly and competent and the horses are excellent.

Hi,

I have been coming over to ride for the past three years when we are winter Texans on the island.  I ride at least once a week during our stay and each ride is my "favorite"! Last year a friend of mine came riding with us, she had ridden exactly twice in her life and had a wonderful ride on Cowgirl.

One of the main reasons we stay on Padre in January and February is Island Equestrian Center. Your staff is so friendly and helpful, always picking the perfect horse for each rider. DJ, Cam, Cat, Victor, and Jill (in the office) are all so wonderful and helpful. Having worked with tourists in my younger days I know it can be daunting sometimes, but they are always incredibly nice to everyone. They make me feel at home in your barn.  

Your horses are in good shape and an advanced rider can enjoy the ride as much as a first timer. There are not many places left where you can enjoy a ride on the beach...so I would recommend anyone to try it at least once...but warning...very addictive :-) Thank you!

Dear Island Adventure Center: I just wanted to thank you all for a very wonderful trail ride.  My husband and I visited on Saturday 1-8-11 to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary.  I had never ridden a horse but your staff quickly put my nerves at ease. Just wanted to thank you again for your help in making our visit a “one to remember”.  Please tell your staff that we really appreciated the extra effort that they showed us.  The photographs that they took of us has made it to our friends literally around the world. 

Stacey and I are already talking of a return trip next spring.  Hope to see you and your staff still “riding into the sunset”.
